Your invitation to a unique celebration

08 May 2011

Moray Task Force and Save RAF Lossiemouth Action Group are joining forces to host a unique event in Lossiemouth, as part of our on-going campaign to save RAF Lossiemouth from closure.

The community of Lossiemouth has suffered badly as a result of the continuing uncertainty surrounding the future of RAF Lossiemouth. Many families and businesses face an uncertain future as Ministers decide the fate of the base and the thousands of jobs it sustains.

"Stand up and be Kilted" aims to raise community spirits by raising the profile of Lossiemouth and showcasing Moray's strengths as a business and leisure destination.

Hosted by local raconteur Peter Mitchell, the free event will include a tartan themed fashion show and a performance from stand-up comedian Fred MacAulay.

The free event will be held in Lossiemouth Town Hall on Sunday 8 May, from 2.00 - 4.00pm. Doors open at 1.30pm.

Please show your support by wearing a kilt or a touch of tartan.

If you are able to join us please email info@moraychamber.co.uk to secure a ticket for you and your guest.
